Meet Hannah - Medicine Woman

Meet Hannah

Hello and welcome.

My name is Hannah, and I am a shamanic practitioner devoted to supporting others on their journey of healing, reconnection and transformation.

Through shamanic healing, ceremony and sacred bodywork I create a compassionate space where people can reconnect with themselves, their bodies and the deeper wisdom that lives within them.

Where the path began

Some paths begin long before we realise we are walking them.

As a child I felt a deep connection to the natural world. I was rarely without small treasures gathered from the earth — feathers, stones, leaves or moss tucked away in my pockets.

I would often take the long way home from school simply to sit among the trees or lie in the grass, listening to the quiet hum of life around me.

At the time I didn’t have a word for what I felt.

Later I came to understand it as animism — the ancient knowing that everything in nature is alive and part of a sacred web of relationships.

Learning from the horses

Another thread that has always been present in my life is my connection with horses.

I cannot remember a time when I didn’t feel drawn to them. Today I share my life with three horses, and over the years they have become some of my greatest teachers.

Horses have a remarkable ability to mirror what is happening within us. They respond not to what we say, but to how we show up — our energy, our presence, our boundaries and our authenticity.

Through them I have learned lessons in humility, presence and heart-led connection. Being with horses invites you to become deeply aware of yourself and to meet the world from a place of honesty and groundedness.

In many earth-honouring traditions, animals are understood as teachers and companions on the path of learning. My relationship with horses has often felt like this — a quiet exchange of awareness, where simply being in their presence invites a deeper kind of listening.

Many of the qualities I bring to my work today — attunement, patience and respect for another being’s experience — were first learned in the quiet company of horses.

Listening to the body

As I moved into womanhood, I began experiencing challenges with my menstrual cycle.

Even at a young age I sensed that there must be another way to care for the body — one that honoured its natural rhythms rather than working against them.

This question became the beginning of a deeper journey.

It eventually led me to the 13th Rite of the Womb, a sacred transmission that originates from the women’s medicine traditions of the Amazon.

Through circles, retreats and teachings I began reconnecting with the wisdom of the womb and the profound intelligence held within the body.

Returning to bodywork

Alongside this connection with animals, I also felt drawn to working with the body from a young age.

I remember massaging my mum when I was little, sitting beside her on the bed and intuitively working with my hands without really knowing why.

Later in life I considered studying massage at college, but at the time I was discouraged from pursuing it. I was told the environment could be quite competitive and that, as a sensitive person, it might not be the right place for me.

Instead I followed the path that felt most natural at the time — working with horses, where I felt safe, comfortable and deeply connected.

Yet the calling toward bodywork never fully left.

As my spiritual path deepened and I began to understand my own body in new ways, I felt that gentle invitation returning. Over time it became clear that working with the body was an important part of my journey.

In many ways it felt like coming full circle — returning to something that had always been quietly present within me.

The moment of remembering

I remember a time during this journey when I was sitting quietly in nature, reflecting on everything I had been learning.

In that moment something became clear.

The connection I had always felt with the earth as a child had never truly disappeared. It had simply been waiting for me to return to it.

What I had once thought of as curiosity or imagination was actually the beginning of a deeper relationship with the living world around me.

That realisation gently changed the direction of my life.

Walking the medicine path

Over time my path led me to the teachings of the Andean shamans of Peru, through the Q’ero lineage of the Inca tradition.

These teachings speak of living in right relationship — with the earth, with spirit, with community and with ourselves.

Through this tradition I began to understand healing in a different way.

Rather than trying to fix what appears broken, the medicine path invites us to remember our wholeness and restore harmony within our lives.

The work I now offer

Today I support others through shamanic healing, ceremony and sacred bodywork.

Some people come seeking emotional release or clarity during times of transition. Others arrive simply needing rest, grounding or a space where their body can soften and restore balance.

Whatever brings you here, my intention is to create a compassionate and grounded space where healing can unfold naturally and where you can reconnect with your own inner wisdom.

An invitation

If something within you resonates with these words, it may be a sign that your own healing journey is ready to unfold.

You are warmly welcome to explore the ways we can work together.
